is a highly qualified and experienced tutor within the beauty industry. She has worked on cruise ships, within large companies and taught for colleges in the UK.
This course has no pre entry requirements and will cover all aspects of Warm Wax Depilation, including theory and practical sessions.Areas covered will be Eyebrows, Chin/Upper lip, Leg,Bikini,Under Arm. Hot Wax will be discussed.
The tutor will assess theory through a multiple choice paper and practical through an observation and oral assessment. When these have been satisfactorily achieved and safe and competent practice has been displayed, certification will be issued.
The aims and outcomes for the course are:
Aim : to fully prepare students to professionally prepare equipment and client for a treatment and to safely perform an effective Wax Depilation Treatment.
Outcomes to be able to:
Identify related Anatomy & Physiology.
Identify the contra indications and Contra actions to treatment
Identify the benefits of the treatments .
Provide effective Home Advice
Prepare the area and client before and after treatment
Identify any possible Health & Safety requirements
Perform a treatment routine
Identify further treatments required.

Equipment Cleaner
The contents of the course will be mainly practical and therefore students are required to wear appropriate attire fitting to the therapy.
You will need to bring: 2 3 hand towels, couch if you have one, couch cover/towel and antibacterial wipes.
Hair must be grown 2 weeks prior to course.
A certificate will be issued once the tutor is satisfied competence has been reached and commpleted assessment of theory papers and practical exam.
