Course Details
An inspirational five day course intended for those wishing to train and practice in the art of make-up to an advanced level including media. This comprehensive and highly informative course provides an excellent base for those with no previous experience wishing to enter the profession and practice on a commercial basis. It provides the founding principles in professional skills through to more advanced techniques including understanding how to work in a studio alongside a professional photographer. The course will also be of particular interest to those looking for a career change, or wishing to refresh and update their training.
You will gain both practical and theoretical application experience and an essential understanding of how to prepare the skin and apply make-up for a variety of professional work as a make-up artist. Subjects include; day, evening, bridal, special occasion, photographic, high fashion and glamour make-up for the lens based industry.
The finale of the course is a photo shoot of your work on day five, where you will experience working in a photographic studio environment alongside a professional photographer.

- Enhancing Techniques including Shading and Highlighting - High Precision and Glamorous 1950’s Make-up

- Bold and Vivid Fashion Make-up - Creating Smoky Eyes - Striking False Lash Effects - Following Trends, Fashion Shows & Make-up Design - Professional Photo Shoot
