Maximum: 4 Students per class
This course covers the most popular beauty treatments requested today namely hair removal waxing, eyelash and brow treatments.
It is ideal for those who wish to gain an insight into beauty therapy in advance of undertaking formal qualifications and/or entering the industry in a commercial way. Formal qualifications in beauty therapy are not currently available at The Nail Company.
The training will allow you to apply the beauty treatments with confidence to yourself or others (friends and family) in a non-commercial way.
All products will be supplied for use on Day One of the course. We stock all products used during the training.
Day One no models are required - all candidates will work on each other and therefore require hair on their body with a minimum of three to four weeks growth.
This day covers:
Theory and Practical using two methods of application and three types of Warm Wax.
You choose the system you wish to specialise in and purchase your system on this day.
Day Two you bring a model with a minimum of three to four weeks hair growth on their body. You work on the model for the practical test in the morning and it is beneficial to use the same model in the afternoon.
This day covers:
Troubleshooting on Warm Wax
Theory and practical test on Warm Wax Application
Theory and hands-on practical on Eye Lash Tinting and Eye Brow Shaping.
Training days are normally two weeks apart. The gap allows you to practise to obtain the maximum benefit from the training days. It is very important for all students to practise on family and friends between the two training days.
Course notes are supplied and a Certificate of Achievement is awarded to candidates reaching the standard required to pass a theory and practical test.
In addition to the course fee, students will need to purchase a starter kit of products for their chosen system, for use during Day Two and to practise in between the training days.
