This course covers the use and application of cosmetic makeup.

The application of cosmetic makeup constitutes a substantial industry requiring specialised products and their use. Critical aspects of the qualification are the ability to provide a client with enhancement of appearance through the use of cosmetics and be able to specify further use by the client on a daily basis.

Course includes:

• Health, Safety and Hygiene
• Preparation of client and treatment room
• Contra indications to treatment
• Contra actions and consultation skin testing
• Practical demonstration
• Assessments on clients
• Aftercare advice
• Putting together a portfolio of work
