5 Tips for a Healthy Lifestyle

 

  1. Drink lots of water. It is recommended to drink at least 1.5 litres of water each day. Good to take in the morning as this clears the toxins, and try with a slice of lemon. Water is good for the skin, wellbeing and much more; 75% of our bodies cells are made from water, so water is really important for our physical and mental well-being.

 

  1. Cut down on coffee and tea as caffeine will give you temporary highs, and try to use herbal or green teas. Try not to drink tea or coffee after 8pm.

 

 

  1. Alcohol; Try to limit alcohol consumption and if you do have a night out, try to fit in plenty of water between drinks and before going to bed.

 

  1. Eating; Try to each small portions regularly, don’t eat too fast and use fresh produce as ready made meals and processed foods contain salt and preservatives, flavouring; 5 a day is key fresh fruit and vegetables.

 

 

  1. Exercise; Try to exercise for 30 mins each day with a brisk walk, or swimming is very refreshing. Don’t take the lift, use the stairs and try to cycle to work.
