This one day course has been designed for those with some basic make-up experience. You will learn through demonstrations and practical sessions how to work with different mediums, create different textures, how to layer products and the different effects you can achieve by mixing products with different mediums. The techniques taught on this course are typically used for high end fashion and editorial make-up designs.

Students are taught by demonstration followed by practical sessions working on a model therefore halving the training time (as opposed to working on each other). This course is only taught as a one to one or maximum of two students for full teaching attention.

All make-up, products and brushes are provided for your use during the class time.
A set of handouts covering all the methods taught on the course will be given to each student for your future reference. You may find it useful to bring writing materials and a camera.

Course content:
Eyeliner - alternative uses.
Shiny, glossy make-up techniques.
Textures - working with different textures and creating texture in your make-up.
Creating two-tone lipsticks.
How to intensify and enhance eyeshadows.
Layering and mixing products.
Glitters - how to apply loose glitters and make your own glitter eyeliners and eyeshadows along with application techniques on how to make glitters stick.
Greasepaints and watercolours - how to use them for beauty make-up as well as creative design work.
Various ways to use pigments.
Mixing methods to create your own coloured mascaras, eyeliners and lipsticks.
Body make-up.
A total of 6 looks will be shown with some additional techniques.

Certificate accredited by The Guild Of Beauty Therapists, 9 CPD points.
