This course has been designed for those that have attended our four day Techniques Of Make-up Artistry course, and, or our three day Styling For Long Hair course. It is also ideal for those that already have hair and make-up skills but would like to learn the specific techniques for Asian bridal hair, make-up and dressing. Some students can start their training with this course and then follow on at a later date with Styling For Long Hair and Techniques Of Make-Up Artistry. I would recommend for those with no previous professional experience to combine the three courses (they don’t have to all be taken at the same time) in order to gain thorough in-depth training in all three areas of hair, make-up and Asian bridal. Once you have completed all three courses you will have the diverse skills to accommodate the majority of your potential clients who will usually book you for all of their wedding functions. Your clients will request different hair and make-up looks for each event, so it is important that you are prepared for these expectations when you start working.
The hairstyling taught on this course is different to what is taught on Styling For Long Hair. This course focuses on the variety of hairstyles and techniques used to create different types of height and shape for when the hair is being covered.
We also teach bridal saree and dupatta/chunni dressing because many brides will want their make-up artist to be able to carry their bridal service all the way through to the dressing. Without this skill you are just narrowing down your market and we want you to leave this course with the skills to accommodate everyone.
