Threading Depilation
Threading Depilation is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in Persia but is continued in India and other countries. It is now gaining popularity in Western countries including the UK and Ireland, and is now practiced in many beauty salons and performed by specially trained beauty therapists.
Threading is the art of removing hair from the eyebrows, face, arms and legs by using a cotton thread, a technique which has been practiced in the East for hundreds of years. Unlike tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line.One reason for its continued popularity is that it is so much healthier for the skin and doesn't result in ingrown hair and it will last for 2-4 weeks. One of the great benefits of threading compared with waxing or laser hair removal is that it is suitable for even sensitive skin.
